Wastes Solutions, Treatments and Opportunities is an international conference that, in its 8th edition, once again brought together experts from academia and industry in the fields of waste management and recycling.
The 2025 edition took place from September 1 to 3, at the VidaMar Resort Hotel Congress Center, in Madeira, promoting the exchange of knowledge, case studies, and applied solutions focused on sustainability and the circular economy.
For this edition, we created a communication approach that captured the essence of the conference, developed the website, and will collaborate on social media management and the creation of physical communication materials, with the aim of building an engaged community.

The CIECC – International Conference on Circular Economy in the Construction Sector, held in the Azores, is a significant event that emerged from the ReBuild 17 Project, with the goal of promoting innovation in the valorization of construction waste. This year marked the 2nd edition, which took place once again at Nonagon, in São Miguel. The theme was “From Vision to Reality: Building Sustainably,” and we developed an entirely new communication strategy to reflect this theme. In addition to supporting the organizing committee, we played an integral role in the event’s realization, from creating the new visual identity applied across all platforms (both physical and digital) to managing social media, where we built a community engaged with the theme.

Bionomia Talks was an event hosted by Pragmatic and Sciencentris, in partnership with the Municipality of Guimarães and sitio Guimarães, as part of the official programme of the Month of Economy. Under the theme “From nature to the economy”, the event brought together speakers and participants for an afternoon dedicated to Biodesign, Biomimicry and Bioinspiration.
This was a fully in-house project — from visual identity and communication strategy to logistics and content. Our goal was simple: to create a space for sharing, discussion and connection around innovation inspired by nature.
The result was an engaging and participatory experience that highlighted the relevance of this intersection between nature, design and the economy.

The ICNF is an International Conference on Natural Fibers that has had six editions since 2013. In the last edition, held in 2023, the theme focused on “Sustainable Solutions Inspired by Nature.”
In this context, the conference’s visual identity sought to follow graphic design trends while aligning with the location where it was held: in Madeira – at VidaMar Hotels & Resorts. This venue evokes the idea of being sunny and refreshing, reflecting the local traditions, without ever losing sight of the main focus – natural fibers. We had the privilege of developing all the graphic design, being actively involved in the event’s organization, and were also responsible for the photography and video coverage.
We are currently working on the 7th edition of this conference, which will be held in 2025 in Lisbon, with the theme “Regenerative Solutions.” Stay tuned for more updates and news about this project.

The Protech mask project aimed to develop protective masks that effectively address the filtration needs of particles and biological agents at the nanometric level, while also degrading these agents to maximize user protection in environments with varying levels of risk.
For this project, we designed the mask, created the brand identity, and developed the product packaging. In addition to these tasks, our design team was in charge of creating graphics for the Open Day and played a role in organizing the event. We were also responsible for the photographic coverage and the project’s demonstrative video.

The PluriProtech project, promoted by the Latino Group company, has as its main objective to focus on the development of clothing solutions for active protection and comfort, specifically for military purposes. In this case, we developed the project’s identity, as well as collaborated in the organization of the Open Day, where the two-piece RBQ protective suits (jacket and pants) were presented. Additionally, we were also responsible for the photographic reportage on the day of the event.

The Medical Textiles Workshop had as its main objective to demonstrate the potential of the Center for Textile Science and Technology (2C2T) in innovative fibrous materials, such as personal protective equipment, wound treatment systems, tissue engineering, and medical devices, as well as intelligent fibrous materials.
